Hi Dr O

My new draught horse is stamping and rubbing his heels on available corners etc. Please advise of best method and product for best result. I own one other draught and a herd of various types. Should I apply to others or wait for signs of infestation.

Cheers

Hello Marcia,
Assuming mites are the cause, and I do find it likely, you will find the best treatments at Equine Diseases » Skin Diseases » Hair and Coat Problems / Itching / Irritated Skin » Lice and Mites of Horses. I would treat all that are potentially exposed.
