Hello all. I am looking to get my horse some No Bows wraps out of Dover tomorrow for our trip to the state capital for the dressage clinic next weekend.

Dover is closed so I can't reach a rep and my coach is probably home sleeping so does anyone know how you size them?

Which of 12, 14 or 16 inches would suffice for a 14.3 Arabian with rather small legs. I don't want to get them too small and then there is no protection. They are essentially cotton padding wraps....with easy velcro for applying. No need for polos.

Any information from No Bows users would be greatly appreciated! If no one knows...don't worry I will wait to order until Monday then express it.

Thanks!

Dear Corinne,

On my 16.2 TB I use 12" in front and 14" behind. If you measure from the bottom of the knee to the bottom of the pastern in front. Behind from the bottom of the hock to the bottom of the pastern you will get a pretty good idea of what you will need.

Good luck and have great fun at the dressage clinic.

WTG...Thanks! I will measure him today when I head out to meet the farrier.

My coach swares by them because they are unlikely to cause pressure points (obviously if you wrap them tight and lumpy that can happen) and don't slip so I thought I would get us a pair...for each set of legs..HAHA...don't know why they aren't sold in fours.
I presume....as always I will have to get small and maybe have them tailored! ;) Because my guy is only 14.3.
Well...great information...have a great day. And thanks for wishing me luck! It should be a great time...if we don't freeze...which by the way reminds me I need to get an exercise rug.

Dear Corinne,

Because your horse is small I believe the 10" in front and the 12" behind may work for you. Or maybe 10" all around may suffice. That is why they sell them in pairs because the hinds are usually a little longer than the fronts.

Good Luck!

WTG I got the smallest ones and might have to tailor the front ones....I can always make them smaller if need be...I didn't see 10 offered so I got the 12 and will improvise if they are too big in the front....like I have to do with all his clothes.

Anywya, Thanks for the info...much appreciated.
