  Discussion on Walker Farrier necessary?
Author Message

Posted on Thursday, Jun 22, 2000 - 12:36 pm:

I have a walker who is used only for pleasure. We have an excellent farrier, but he doesn't trim my walker's feet in any particular "breed specific" fashion.

Will this affect his gaits?

This is how I would recommend a pleasure TWH horse be shod. People who show and want action will allow the foot to grow as long as possible.
