I am a new horse owner and live in Kansas. I need to know what vaccinations my horse will need for the entire year?

Hello Donna,
I am not familiar with what diseases you have locally, whether you travel, what type other horses you come in contact with, or even what your personal phoilosophy is on prevenitive medicine. All of these and other factors effect what you should vaccinate for. See the two articles on vaccination they give detailed facts for the indications, efficacy, and side effects. Then talk it over with your local vet who is familiar with your situation. Together you should be able to develop a routine that helps you out.
