I thought you mentioned in one of your articles that there is a blood test for tape worms....where can I get information on this blood test?

This is not really what Claire was asking about, she was hoping she could measure the damage done and not the prescense of worms, they are two different things.

Though several immunodiagnostic tests for tapes has been described since 1996 it appears to remain a research tool and I do not know anyone performing the test commercially. The different tests used are described in the scientific reports in the article on tapeworms, perhaps contacting one of the institutions using it as a research tool could give you a place to have it run.
