First of all my heart goes out to the gal with the electricuted 10 month weanling. I'm so sorry. I hope everyone reads this for help in the future. I ususally have horses at the race track but my retired horses don't seem to have electrical outlets so I finally found an affordable company that carry battery operated fans. they have two settings and no electrical cords. They take four "D" batteries and last 300 hours. I also know a cheap way to the water misters. I have one under every fan in my stalled horses and string of them along trees and fences in turn outs. they all are happy and basically fly free without harmful, costly pesticides. Home depot is where you can pretty much find your materials. 3/8ths polythene tubing (11 cents a foot it costed me) get replaceable misters (Arizona Mist or California Cool) Take your leather hole punch put tiny holes in your tubing wherever you want to put them, pick up tubing house ends (rain drip makes them also hole punches if you want to spend the extra 40 cents, boom you are in business. Trust me. There great. Works perfect. Clean them when they get clogged with vinegar. Now you have your own custom to your horses liking inexpensive misters. The fans I located are at https://www.vectacor.ca/reseller.htm
