  Discussion on Horseradish--toxic to horses?
Author Message

Posted on Wednesday, Jan 16, 2002 - 6:27 pm:

I will soon be moving to a new property in the Czech Republic this Spring and will have horses there by mid-summer. One small pasture has been farmed as horseradish for years. Of course we plan to reseed it, but I am concerned that horseradish might not be too good for horses. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Laura

Hello Laura,
I can not find any evidence of toxicity but suggest that you kill it off with a herbicide before you plant.
