Dr. O

I was wondering if you've heard any more information on the ligament tendon splitting for upward fixation of the patella? The article you've posted was very exciting since the results seem to offset the traditional problems with the surgery? Have you heard of any horses having this procedure in the US? If so, what are the initial results? Are there any hospitals on the east coast doing this surgery?
Thanks

No I haven't seen any more published results and have not had to send one to surgery since putting that up, I continue to be able to feed them out of the problem. However it will be the next step for me with the next serious problem I have. Best would be to inquire at the hospitals available to you.
