Hi Dr.O. After the discussion about my mare maybe this would be worth a try to help with the farrier.
I have used it on her before and it did seem to help.
After reading your article on it I have a question. She has a very thick winter coat and I wonder if it is possible for it to work. I can try to rub it in to the skin, but I am not sure I would get enough contact? It does need to contact the skin correct? Thanks

Yes, it must make contact with the skin. But if carefully rubbed in you should be able to accomplish that.
