The Liberty Mosquito Magnet (there are also other brands) attracts mosquito and other flying critters. The Liberty covers a one acre area. Since assembling the magnet, I have noticed critters in the collection bag already. Open your browser and search for Mosquito Magnet for more info.

George research has shown that these devices do attract and catch mosquitoes but here is the problem: it brings in the mosquites quicker than it traps them. The net result has been no change in the rate of biting. Though further work may show a place for such a device currently we are not recommending them.
