I have a three year old paint mare who rolls her front ankles(not sure what joint that is called). The vet said it might be from to much alfalfa in her diet. I have taken her off alfalfa gradually. The vet said she is growing to fast. Others have talked about Epiphysitis. What is that and what can you do for it. Is this somthing horses grow out of? Should I have her on a certain diet?

Hello Nancy,
I am not sure what you mean by "roll her ankle". Do you mean they are too straight when liiked at from the side and tend to buckle forward? Do they ever look normal when standing?
