One of my broodmares has a habit of eating her herdmates' manure. One of those other mares is on pergolide to manage her Cushings.

Does pergolide persist in manure? Does my broodmare's gross habit (we have ruled out nutritional deficiencies) endanger her pregnancy or her foal?

I have never seen a study on this Elizabeth and checking pharmacokinetic summaries nobody brings up how it is disposed in any specie. I strongly suspect this is not a problem however.
