I was just curious about lighter hair at the injection site. My horse was not injected by the vet that I use now. (it was a fetlock injection) My vet said that's how he can tell that a horse has been injected in some cases it is caused by some of the cortisone leaking out. He didn't seem to be pleased but didn't elaborate. Is this a good or a bad thing?

I have not seen or heard of such a reaction Kaye and I often inject nodules just under the skin with steroids. I guess it is possible but it would not mean much to me.
