Hi DrO, I apologize for not understanding, but can you please clarify this last sentence of the article for me:

On farms or in familial lines where the problem has occured in the past, vitamin E should be supplemented at the rate of 2.25 IU / kg (1 / lb.).

Does that mean 2.25 IU/kg daily for each horse?
