Dr. O,

Thank you for your thorough article about atrial fibrillation.

One of my niece's jumping horses is at the Ohio State Veterinary School now.

Twice they tried to shock his heart back into a normal rhythm with no success.

Now they have started the treatment with the Quinidine (after first preparing with Digitalis). He seems to be responding well and will probably return home tomorrow afternoon.

The prognosis is looking good.

Your article is so very comprehensive and it was extremely helpful to us.
