I was wondering if high temps/humidity can cause diarrhea? We lightly rode my 5 yr old horse in the morning for 20 min and he felt fine but started having diarrhea while riding, then it continued throughout the day. He had no signs of distress at all, no temperature, seemed normal. It was very humid and sunny. He'd been out in his paddock prior to being ridden. Thanks, R

Robin how high was the temperature and humidity when you rode? Without signs of heat stress or exhaustion from the ride it does not seem likely that was the cause.
