My horse has to eat liquid feed due to adhesions.
Has anyone found a product of a feed that can help open the adhesions of the intestion,
or a food that doesn't need to be soaked in water?

My barn will not allow me to keep him in the facility unless he can eat
a dry food. They are afraid of someone throwing him a bail by accident.

Whats' a mother to do?

What a shame to find yourself in this predicament! When I used to board, there was always a feed schedule fixed to the front of each stall which included special instructions. And, believe me, this was not an expensive place to board. That is really the safest way for any barn to go. It sounds like the barn owner/manager doesn't want to be troubled.

Adhesions are scar tissue and are there for good. I know of no feed that could "open" them. What caused the adhesions, Corey?

It might be good to start looking for another barn. Maybe someone else here has a better solution for you. Good luck, Corey.

Welcome Corey,
I too want more information on the nature of the adhesions in your horses abdomen. You may find that complete extruded feeds like Purina's Equine Senior may not need to be soaked before feeding but from the information provided I don't know if this will work for your horse. It does not solve the problem of someone feeding your horse hay accidentally.
