Dr. O.,
My horse survived his second hock injection and it has definitely helped him alot. My question is-even with the injection, can they still be a little stiff prior to warming up because of the arthritis in there?
Thanks,
Mary

Absolutely Mary. Response will vary between individuals as will the amount of exercise they can do without making things worse so be sure to monitor the exercise and make adjustments so that you do not get acute flares of lameness.

Dr. O.,
Thanks for your reply-he improves with exercise, and even just a few minutes after warming up looks great/sound. He just looks stiff prior to getting started, but not sore. I will be sure to keep an eye on how he does. Some days we will just go for long walks in our pasture. I certainly will not ask him to do collected work every day.
