I purchased this mare in January of 2006 and I was led to belive this was from a t-post injury but now it is four months later, May and the wound has not got any better. Does this look like a possible Fibroblastic Sarcoid Tumor? I am down loading a pic of this soar on my paint mare it is next to her vula. If so what should I do to treat it. please help. Possible but since the skin in unpigmented and considering its location squamous cell carcinoma is possible to. You need to have this biopsied for proper diagnosis and therapy, for more see Equine Diseases » Skin Diseases » Bumps / Nodules / Warts / Tumors » Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
