Hello All,
With the advent of tenoscopy, the investigation of tendon sheaths with a endoscope, great strides have been made in the accurate identification of lesions and more specific therapy and prognosis. The majority of these lesions are longitudinal tears in the DDFT or tears of the manica flexoria. It is thought that early identification and surgical treatment might prevent chronic lameness. We have edited the article on Flexor Tendinitis to include information about this procedure: what they are finding, how they are treating it and the prognosis based on the lesions found. The article has also been greatly edited and expanded. Click on "Flexor Tendinitis" above to access the article.
