PLEASE DOC, I NEED INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PLANT
USED IN DISEASES CARDIOVASCULAR IN THE HORSES

The active ingredient of the plant is also called digitalis. Horses are digitalized for certain heart conditions using commercial preparations like digoxin. Foxglove is considered too variable a source of the drug to be useful: the difference between working and killing is very small.
