Please, we have a broodmare suffering from anhiDrOsis. I am willing to try anything to help her out. I have had no luck locating P&V Distributors or how to purchase One AC. Please let me know how to get in touch with the folks, so that I can give One AC a try.

One AC is availabe at www.smartpakequine.com

From the June 2003 issue of Horse Journal-
"A product called One AC is reported to work for many anhiDrOtic horses. The developer's theory is that the ingredients support production of the neurotransmitter, dopamine, which is involved in transmission of sympathetic (epinephrine, norepinephrine) nerve impulses."

Let us know how it works for you.

I read all of the discussions on anhiDrOsis because our beautiful broodmare was suffering acutely. She wouldn't graze, her breathing was heavy and labored and she didn't sweat at all. Our vet confirmed our suspicions and suggested that we hose her frequently and keep her in during the heat of the day. Not a great option since she has an energetic foal at her side.

So, in desperation, we tried One AC. Within 2 days of use, I noticed her sweating behind her ears. Then, she started sweating on her neck, chest. Now after one week of use, she is not breathing heavy, she's grazing, and she is sweating more normally. (Still not heavily)

The interesting fact is that when we reported our "miracle cure" to our vet, she replied that she was familiar with One AC and thought that it was a good product. I have no idea why she didn't bother to mention it to us when we were so very distressed about our mares condition.

We have ordered another 2 month supply and will continue using it throughout the summer. You can find out more about the product by visiting their website www.non-sweater.com
