Dr O.,
Read your article on Buserelin. I have an older mare that is becoming difficult to get pregnant. In order to make a better decision I was wondering if you new any other specifics about this drug and how it is intended to work.

Not really Shelly, other than the hormonal actions mentioned in the article, a mechanism of action has not been shown for this specific action. There are certainly lots of possibilities but right now all is just conjecture. However the care and the size of the study strongly suggest the results are not coincidental.
