I have two horses on daily worming pellets, one being a geriatric quarter horse, the other a (large) miniature horse. The mini tried to founder on us last year, so she gets virtually no grain (a few sprinkles in her bucket, literally), only grass hay. Am I risking gastric problems by feeding her the wormer pellets without grain?

No this should be safe.

Thanks for the quick response! Tess (the mini) will be relieved to know that she can still have her pellets. She thinks she's getting food.
