Any information out there on muscle soreness--thought it was from a fall with a saddle and torn shoulder muscle--now mare is sore over hip and stifle plus girth area, trying IV dmso, legend and now vet wants to try robaxin 7500mg bid for 15 days.The fall was a year ago, mare has been turned out, free exercise, but would like to get her back into show ring soon.

Muscle soreness from a fall a year ago seems a little odd. What are the principle clinical signs?
