Discussion on Where Can I find a 6" Wide French Link Snaffle?
Author Message

Hello!

I too am looking for an eggbutt French Link snaffle bit, but need one that is 6 inches wide for my draft cross gelding. Does anyone know where I could purchase one (hopefully over the Internet via on online tack store site)?

I like the KK Training bits, and have one that is 6 inches wide, but the loose rings seem to be pinching him. I read that the way the KK bit hangs will give the appearence that the bit is too narrow. When I pull it straight in his mouth, there is less then 1/4 inch on each side. Does a KK Training bit with an eggbutt or D ring exist? I've looked, and can't find any such thing...especially in a 6 inch width.

Any advice/information is appreciated!
