Has anyone heard of this? also, are there any new "fixes" on the market for cribbing? I have also heard of horse antidepressants - any info would be appreciated!
(yes, I have read the article Dr. O)

Then I guess you read the report on the surgical technique that was 100% effective reported just this month in Veterinary Surgery (Vet Surg 2002 Mar-Apr;31(2):111-6
Nd:YAG laser--assisted modified Forssell's procedure for treatment of cribbing (crib-biting) in horses).

It is the first report under the Scientific Report section just in case you missed this.

Oh yeah, the scientific reports - I was trying to avoid a surgery, although after reading the report just now I cannot honestly say I understand exactly what they are referring to . It sounds to me like it is cutting a muscle and a nerve out. Too drastic for me! So you have not heard about the staple in the ear?
