I am looking for information on the saddles made by the Steele Custom Tree & Saddle Co. in Chapmansboro, TN. If any of you own one of their saddles, or know someone that does, I would like to hear some opinions/experiences with these saddles. Thank you.

I know of a Steele brand tree that is used in some higher end saddles models, and have riden them and really liked them. They are hard to find and usually add to the price but are awsome for fitting todays working QH. I saw in the latest Valley Vet catalog (i think) a western packer type saddle with a full QH bar Steele Brand tree in a 17 in seat.

Hope that helps.

Don't know if you still check this or not, but Steele is quite a popular maker of sidesaddle trees. You might contact someone from www.hoosierladiesaside.com for more information. I know some of the ladies own Steele sidesaddles and could probably direct you to where you might find contact info.
