I am boarding my horse where they have one of those new canvas arenas. It is bright and nice to work in but my mare is terrified of all the noises the place makes in the wind and when the snow unexpectedly slides down the roof. I have never had so much trouble before. Is there anyway I can desinsitize her to the strange horse killing sounds? I've waved plastic and nylon tents at her and she just ignores them. Diana

Is it really warm in one of those? I have seen pictures, but I am wondering does it provide the insulation of a brick & mortar kind of indoor.

When I used to board in Illinois, I remember the indoor being about 10 degrees, when outside it was zero, or below.

Just curious...

One of our local boarding barns has one and I like it for its bright, open, airy feel. I suggest that while the arena is not in use you turn your horse out into it for long periods, feed out there etc..
