Has anybody here used or know someone who has used a Micklem Multibridle? I keep seeing them in catalogs and tack stores, and they seem to be a great idea, but I am hesitant to spend that kind of money on a bridle if I might end up disliking it!

In case you are not familiar:

HI Simone,

I have no personal experience with this bridle.
But I get a little magazine called the 'Horse Journal'.
They do a lot of product testing and comparison.
In the April edition they did an article on the Micklem.

Basically they said that some horses went the same, some went worse and none went better.

They also felt that the bridles would be ok on horses that were trained but would not be conducive to training.

Is there a particular reason you are considering a bitless?

Hi Lori,

I am not considering it as a bitless, I'm wanting to use it in the bit configuration. The manufacturer claims that the way it's built hits no pressure points on a horse's face, supposedly making it more comfortable and palatable for the horse. Just interested to know if there claims are true!

Thanks for the info-it's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for:-)
