Discussion on Gelding acting as Stallion

I'm looking for advice regarding how to modify the behavior of a gelding that behaves as a stallion teasing mares and mounting them. While the behavior may seem harmless and natural the challenge is that the mares in question are more regularly in season when he continually teases them and those mares that are pastured with him consistently suffer from soreness in the back and stifles from being mounted regularly. The mares across the fence consistently break the fence while "flirting" which is becoming quite the challenge to keep up with. Is there anything that can be done to temper the gelding's behavior? Unfortunately, where the horses are kept it is not an option to separate the gelding completely. We've tried supplementing his diet and that of some of the mares with raspberry leaf which does not seem to have had any effect on him but does seem to cut the drive on the mares some. Any suggestions as to how we can minimize his "drive" would be appreciated. Is there anything that can be done medically? The vet has confirmed that horse is healthy and fully gelded (the gelding is 11 years old). Thank you.

Hello Laurel,
How was the confirmation of being a gelding done?
