Hi, I like to ride in the colorado river in Arizona and I was told to watch for mud bogs. That my horse could get stuck in one. Are there really mud bogs? Do you know how to tell where they are just by looking at them? I don't want to hurt my horse.
Your input would be helpful.
Thank You

Well I can't speak for AZ but here in NC I have personally participated in dragging two horses out of creek bottoms where they were mired to their...well lets just say they were in deep. I thought one was a little tricky just looking at it the ground did not look THAT bad.
