Discussion on Equine Business Computer Software
Author Message

Posted on Sunday, Aug 12, 2001 - 1:20 pm:

After many grueling days with my trusty calculator & green eyeshade, I have finally decided to allow my computer to do the work for next tax season & invest in some equine business software.

After spending what seemed to be an eternity looking at various choices, was wondering if anyone out there would give me their opinions &/or experiences - good AND bad - with reference to any equine software programs they have used or are presently using. I have pretty much narrowed it down to either HorseBiz, HorseBiz+Quicken, or HorseTrak Gold. Anyone out there have any experience with these? (or others?)

Since I breed, am interested in something that will allow me to keep all the basic horse records plus produce relatively simple income/expense reports for my accountant at year end.

Thanks! Bonnie

(P.S. to Administration - Please forgive me if this should have been posted up in "Product Reviews". I wasn't sure.)

I noticed your post of 1 year ago. I am currently looking for software to help me manage my lesson scheduling. Which software did you buy and are you happy with it?
